As usual, Call of Duty is gearing up for a holiday update, and some of the first details for what's coming in Black Ops 6 have now surfaced. As part of a new COD POD from Activision, the company unveiled the first glimpse of a holiday-themed makeover for Black Ops 6's Nuketown map. As you can see, the map is now adorned with festive decorations and blanketed in snow. While nothing has been officially confirmed, it's likely that there will be a variety of holiday-themed store bundles available to purchase, helping players get into the festive spirit.
There's no word yet on when the Nuketown holiday makeover for Black Ops 6 will go live, or any other themed activities, but that should be announced relatively soon considering the holidays are just around the corner. Beyond Call of Duty, it's anticipated that other popular live-service games, such as GTA Online, will also feature holiday events. Stay tuned to GameSpot for the latest updates.
Additionally, Black Ops 6 will see a crossover with Netflix's Squid Game later this year, timed to coincide with the debut of Squid Game Season 2.
