Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to arrive on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass this October, and we now have comprehensive details on how Game Pass subscribers can access it. To be clear, only Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members will have access to Black Ops 6 at launch. Here's a detailed breakdown of what you need to know.

Game Pass subscribers will be able to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 starting on October 25 if they are currently subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass. Notably, Black Ops 6 will not be available at launch for those with Game Pass Standard or Game Pass Core subscriptions.

If you're an existing Xbox Game Pass for console subscriber, you'll be able to enjoy Black Ops 6 at launch as long as your automatic payments are active and you remain a subscriber when the game releases in October. However, this membership tier is no longer available for new subscribers.

Microsoft has not specified when, or if, Black Ops 6 will be available on Game Pass Standard or Game Pass Core. It's important to note that subscribing to Game Pass Standard or Game Pass Core does not guarantee immediate access to first-party Xbox games upon their release.

"New day one games available with Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass (both receive day one games) will not be immediately available with Game Pass Standard and may be added to the library at a future date. This could be up to 12 months or more and will vary by title," a Microsoft spokesperson informed GameSpot.

Black Ops 6 will be available for streaming via Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now starting on October 25. To play via Xbox Cloud Gaming, you will need a Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
