Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to launch next week, and Activision has unveiled all the essential details concerning PC features, hardware requirements, and more. Here's a comprehensive guide to help you get ready for this year's new Call of Duty on PC.
Activision's latest blog post outlines several key features that PC players can anticipate when diving into Black Ops 6. The game features AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3, which promises to deliver quicker and more fluid frame rates through super resolution temporal upscaling and advanced frame generation. Additionally, PC gamers can enable the FSR Frame Generation graphic setting, allowing for significant framerate boosts while seamlessly integrating with other upscaling solutions.
In terms of hardware, Activision suggests using an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X or Intel Core i7-6700K CPU with a minimum of 12 GB of RAM for optimal performance. Recommended video cards include the AMD Radeon RX 6600XT or NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1080Ti / RTX 3060. However, the minimum requirements are more modest, requiring only an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i5-6600 CPU with 8 GB of RAM. Compatible video cards include the AMD Radeon RX 470, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960, or Intel Arc A580.
Black Ops 6 on the PC Microsoft Store will be available regionally starting October 24 between 4 AM PT and 11 PM PT.
