Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 1 delivered an exciting surprise for gamers by reintroducing the Hacienda map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. This might not be the only classic map to receive a remaster, as Treyarch's Associate Creative Director, Miles Leslie, hinted at the possibility during a recent interview. Leslie mentioned that the team has a list of favorite maps they would love to revisit, and no map is completely off the table.

"We put a lot of thought into potential remasters with each new game," Leslie shared with Dextero. "We understand that there are certain fan favorites players would like to see again, and we have our own wish list of maps we've been considering over the years. While we are primarily focused on delivering original designs for our post-launch maps, no previous Black Ops title is excluded from potential remasters."

Earlier this month, a Call of Duty leaker suggested that the Launch map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 could make a comeback under a new name, Cosmodome, in either Black Ops 6 or the upcoming 2025 Call of Duty game. However, this rumor remains unconfirmed.

Before the launch of Season 1, Treyarch outlined all the features players can anticipate in Black Ops 6. The developer also announced a free trial for Black Ops 6's multiplayer and Zombies modes, set to begin on December 13 for a limited period. Additionally, players recently uncovered a game-ending Easter egg in Black Ops 6's Nuketown. Treyarch also teased a collaboration between Black Ops 6 and Netflix's Squid Game.
