Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 1 has officially launched, bringing with it a plethora of new features, including a highly anticipated mannequin Easter egg that players can discover on the iconic Nuketown map.

For those familiar with Nuketown, the map's design is a suburban neighborhood complete with model homes, winding picket fences, and neatly trimmed lawns, all situated within a nuclear testing zone that evokes strong Fallout themes. The map is populated exclusively by mannequins, a setting that has always hinted at hidden secrets. However, Treyarch has taken things to a new level this time around.

Caution: Spoilers ahead! If you prefer to uncover the new Nuketown Easter egg on your own, proceed with care.

To trigger the Easter egg, players must shoot the heads off each mannequin. While some may be tricky to locate, once all have been found, a black-and-white 'please stand by' message briefly appears on screen. After the message fades, players are returned to Nuketown, now noticeably different.

In the center of the map, a group of mannequins sits peacefully, motionless as if watching a television broadcast. However, firing weapons at them awakens their fury. The mannequins retaliate by hurling flashbangs, but the true danger lies within the town itself. Once the Easter egg is activated, zombie-like mannequins begin to spawn and chase players around the map. (Interestingly, the seated mannequins will boo and cheer in response to player actions.) The moving mannequins groan like zombies, and to add to the eeriness, all headless mannequins remain frozen in place as players fend off their animated counterparts.

Black Ops 6 players are thoroughly enjoying Nuketown's latest mannequin-based secret, with some sharing footage of their chilling adventures and others offering suggestions for future Easter eggs.
