The start date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 1, which was initially leaked thanks to carbs and cheese, has been confirmed. Activision has formally announced that Season 1 will commence on November 14. This season introduces new multiplayer maps and modes, the next Zombies map, and updates to Warzone. Notably, November 14 will see the launch of the new Warzone map, Area 99, along with the integration of Black Ops 6's weapons and the Omnimovement system into the battle-royale game.

The new mode, Infected, is already available and is perfectly timed for Halloween. In this party mode, one player starts as a zombie with the objective of infecting other players. Each infected player joins the original zombie until no survivors remain or the match timer expires. One of the new maps for Season 1 is Warhead, a smaller-scale Strike map designed for 2v2 and 6v6 matches. This map is set in Arena 99, the birthplace of Nuketown.

Area 99, the new Warzone map, also debuts on November 14. Situated in the Nevada desert, Area 99 is a Resurgence map that allows players to explore the top-secret government site and engage in battles across locations such as the mannequin assembly plant, the factory warehouse where the Nuketown houses were constructed, and other areas that add narrative depth to Nuketown.

Speaking of Nuketown, the original 1950s version from 2010's Black Ops, now updated with new visuals, will be available in Black Ops 6 multiplayer starting November 1. While Nuketown is a fan-favorite for some, many players have never experienced it.

Regarding Zombies, the new Season 1 map is described as 'terrifying,' but further details about it or its launch timing within Season 1 were not disclosed. Black Ops 6 launched with two Zombies maps—Liberty Falls and Terminus. Activision will provide more information on the Season 1 maps, modes, weapons, and features coming to multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone in the coming days, so stay tuned for updates.
