Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 reintroduces Treyarch's classic, round-based Zombies mode. The ideal map for newcomers, particularly beginners, is Liberty Falls. This guide will walk you through accessing the Pack-a-Punch machine and the associated costs for upgrading your weapons.

Upon starting a match on Liberty Falls, the Pack-a-Punch machine is located on the opposite end of the gas station rooftop from your spawn point. It will take some time to accumulate enough points to reach the necessary area. There are multiple paths to choose from, with doors to unlock on both the left and right sides of your starting area, but opting for the right side is recommended for quicker access to crucial perks like Juggernog and Quick Revive.

Unlock barrier 1: Spend 1,500 essence points to unlock the right-side barrier.

Unlock barrier 2: Proceed behind Ollie's Comic Shop to unlock the second barrier, which requires 1,750 essence points.

Unlock barrier 3: Follow the street leading up the hill to the church, where a barrier costing 2,000 essence points will grant you access to the church front and cemetery.

Unlock barrier 4: The front entrance to the church is also locked, requiring 2,250 essence points to open the final barrier to the church. You can now enter and locate the Pack-a-Punch machine at the back of the room.

It's worth noting that Black Ops 6 now allows players to share the costs of opening doors. You can contribute a portion of the barrier costs, and your teammates can pitch in as well. Upgrading your weapon's power with the Pack-a-Punch machine comes at a significant cost. There are three tiers of upgrades, priced as follows:

Playing solo, you should be able to unlock access to Pack-a-Punch and achieve a tier-one upgrade by level 9. Additionally, you can enhance your weapon's rarity by adding more attachments. This rarity upgrade is available at any of the map's Arsenal machines. There's an Arsenal machine at the end of the street on the right side, just beyond where you open the first barrier. Another Arsenal machine is located in the parking lot opposite the church.

Weapon rarity upgrades are paid for with the salvage currency dropped by fallen zombies. The costs are as follows:
