Capcom's upcoming retro fighting game compilation, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, is scheduled to release on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2025. This new collection will include eight classic Capcom fighting games, such as the beloved crossover Capcom vs. SNK, the multiplayer brawler Power Stone 2, and lesser-known gems like Plasma Sword, among others.

Although a specific release date has not been announced, physical editions for Nintendo Switch and PS4 are now available for preorder on Amazon, complete with an exciting bonus. Similar to the recently released physical edition of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, preorders of Capcom Fighting Collection 2 come with an exclusive comic book. Only the initial batch of physical copies will include a brand-new Capcom vs. SNK comic created by Udon Entertainment to celebrate the return of the crossover series in this new collection.

While this isn't exclusively a preorder bonus—the comic will be included in launch copies—supplies are limited, so preordering ensures you receive a copy with the comic. If you haven't yet purchased the physical edition of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection, released on November 22, you might still be able to get the exclusive comic book for that collection if you act quickly.

Among the several excellent fighting games in this release, Capcom Fighting Collection 2's standout titles are Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight Pro and Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark Of The Millenium 2001. These games were significant at their original release, uniting characters from two of the largest fighting game studios of their time. Fans have eagerly awaited the return of the crossover series, and Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will finally bring Capcom vs. SNK to modern consoles.

The collection includes a total of eight games, several of which are cult classics that haven't seen official re-releases in decades—if at all. Here's the complete list of titles included in Capcom Fighting Collection 2: That's a remarkable lineup for a budget-priced collection, especially considering these games will be playable with online matchmaking and rollback netcode. If the previous Capcom Fighting Collection and Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection are any indication, fans can expect plenty of extras like in-game art galleries, music players, and more.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 launches on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2025. In the meantime, if you need to pick up Capcom's other fighting game collections, The Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection is available for $50 on PS4 and Switch. A physical Xbox edition is planned for 2025, but preorders are not yet available. The first Capcom Fighting Collection is harder to find, but Switch copies are currently $37 on Amazon.
