In a remarkable achievement, Carlos Edriel Yulo of the Philippines secured gold in the men's vault event in Paris on Sunday, marking his second consecutive gold medal win. This victory follows his triumph on Saturday in the men's floor exercise in gymnastics. In the men's vault event, Armenian athlete Artur Davtyan earned the silver medal, while Britain's Harry Hepworth claimed the bronze. Following his victory in the men's floor exercise, Yulo dedicated his medal to the Filipino people. The Filipino athletes participating in the Paris Games have been offered a fully furnished, two-bedroom condominium in Taguig City for each gold medal won. Yulo expressed his gratitude for the reward but emphasized that it was secondary to his recent world title victory. "It's just a bonus for me. And this is what really matters," he stated, holding the medal close.
