October 23 marks Bethesda's Fallout Day, an annual event commemorating the day the bombs fell in the Fallout universe. To celebrate, various online retailers are offering significant discounts on Fallout games and DLC, making it an ideal opportunity to complete your collection of these cherished post-apocalyptic RPGs.
Fanatical and GOG are leading the charge with some of the best deals for PC gamers, but you can also find select Fallout titles on sale at Humble and Steam with discounts of up to 75%. For console enthusiasts, digital copies of numerous Fallout titles are available at reduced prices in both the PlayStation and Xbox stores. Below is a list of the current sales.
PC players should head to Fanatical for their extensive Fallout Day sale, which includes deals on the original Fallout and Fallout 2. You can also purchase both in the Fallout Classic Collection for just $4.59 (originally $20), which includes the often-overlooked spin-off, Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel. For those interested in the more recent Bethesda-developed titles, Fallout 3, Fallout 4, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout 76 are all available at discounted prices, along with numerous DLC expansions for each.
Additionally, you can get Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas for as little as $7 total by purchasing them as part of Fanatical's Build Your Own Special Editions Bundle. This bundle also includes several other notable titles, such as Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Evil Within, and Dishonored. If you add five or more games to the bundle, each game will cost you only $3.
GOG is also hosting a Fallout sale, which is excellent news for those who prefer DRM-free PC games. While the sale may not be as extensive as those offered by Fanatical and other retailers, the advantage is that you own your games outright and can play them without needing platforms like Steam. GOG also offers the 'Game of the Year' or 'Ultimate' editions of newer Fallout games, which include all their expansion content at competitive prices.
