The Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation (AGF), in partnership with Skyrize Partners, commemorates Emirati Women’s Day by honoring the accomplishments of participants in the Nomu Al Ghurair Programme’s Women in Management and Leadership track. Introduced in November 2023, this initiative aims to enhance the skills of Emirati and Arab women over a period of 12 to 18 months. Now in its seventh iteration, the program has attracted over 300 participants from the UAE and other Arab countries, focusing on bolstering their management and leadership abilities to equip them for successful careers in the corporate sector. The program is tailored for students, recent graduates, and young professionals, with sessions conducted throughout the UAE. Over five weeks, the program includes 10 sessions covering self-management, work management, and leadership, alongside career counseling, CV and LinkedIn workshops, and training in problem-solving and business communication.

The program’s robust connections with the private sector, including partnerships with companies like Mars, General Motors, Nestlé, SAP, Roland Berger, Arla, RAKEZ, Bayt.com, and Bain & Company, offer participants practical experience through case studies, training sessions, and mentorship. Graduates have successfully secured interviews with these industry partners, obtained job opportunities across various sectors, earned internships in Europe, and secured speaker roles at major events. Dr. Sonia Ben Jaafar, CEO of AGF, highlighted the program’s importance: “The Nomu Al Ghurair Program is pivotal in shaping the future of the UAE by empowering Emirati women with essential leadership skills and networks to forge new paths in their careers. By investing in these women, we are enhancing the nation’s potential for innovation and prosperity.” Sarah Sefiane, founder of Skyrize Partners, stated: “Aligning with national priorities, Skyrize Partners is dedicated to nurturing the skills of Emirati talent and early engagement with the private sector to explore career opportunities. We are honored to collaborate with the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation (AGF) towards this noble goal.”
