A child tragically lost their life in Oman on Tuesday, having been carried away by a wadi during the heavy rainfall that has been affecting the Sultanate, according to the Royal Oman Police.
The police first responded to a report of five individuals trapped inside a vehicle in the Wadi Andam stream along the Azki-Sinaw road. Four of these individuals were successfully rescued and taken to Ibra Reference Hospital via a police ambulance. Unfortunately, a child was swept away and subsequently found deceased.
