Coldplay enthusiasts in the UAE can rejoice as the Grammy Award-winning band has added a fourth live performance to their Abu Dhabi itinerary. The band will now captivate fans in the capital on the following dates: Thursday, January 9, 2025; Saturday, January 11; Sunday, January 12; and Tuesday, January 14. All four concerts will be held at the 44,600-capacity Zayed Sports City Stadium, as part of their Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025.
Initially, Coldplay was scheduled for a single night show in Abu Dhabi on January 11, 2025. However, due to unprecedented demand, they have extended their stay with additional dates. The announcement of two extra shows came on Wednesday, September 25, amidst the frenzy of fans trying to secure tickets for the originally scheduled performance. The excitement surrounding the immersive concert has dominated conversations across the Emirates this week, with many fans planning to travel from around the globe to attend.
Unfortunately, hundreds of fans were left disappointed after waiting in line for up to seven hours, only to leave without tickets. With the fourth show now added, tickets are expected to sell out rapidly, just as the first three did. Fans are advised to act quickly to secure their spots.
Organisers have cautioned fans to buy tickets only through authorised partners to avoid the risk of paying exorbitant prices for tickets that may not be valid at the venue. Shortly after the pre-sale earlier this week, illegal resellers were already listing tickets at nearly double the original prices. Here is a glimpse of the official pricing structure:
