The 90.1-meter Lürssen superyacht Ice has collided with the 31.1-meter Numarine yacht A.Mey in Yalıkavak, Turkey. Dramatic footage captured during the incident shows Ice's bow striking A.Mey with sufficient force to rotate the yacht. The extent of the damage remains unclear, but it appears that A.Mey's aft section sustained significant damage. The yacht was anchored at the time of the collision. Ice, delivered by the German shipyard in 2005 and designed by Tim Heywood, was most recently listed for sale in 2023. Her last known asking price was €100,000,000, making her one of the priciest yachts on the market, featuring a large helipad and five bathtubs carved from solid limestone. She was awarded Motor Yacht of the Year at the 2006 World Superyacht Awards. A.Mey, delivered in 2007, is part of Numarine's 102 RPH series, with exterior design by Tommaso Spadolini. The cause of the collision remains unknown. BOAT International will provide updates as the story unfolds.
