Columbus Yachts, part of Palumbo Superyachts, has initiated the self-funded construction of its new Columbus Atlantique 37 at the Savona shipyard. This latest superyacht marks the second hull in its series, with an anticipated delivery date set for 2027. Crafted entirely from aluminum, the vessel's design, both exterior and interior, is overseen by the Italian design studio Hot Lab, with naval engineering provided by the same Italian shipyard. Described as possessing "clean and elegant lines with a sporty flair," the yacht's hull evokes the classic aesthetics of sailing yachts. Inside, the 299GT interior is efficiently laid out with four double cabins on the lower deck and a master cabin at the bow of the main deck, featuring a fixed terrace, a bathroom with double sinks, a spacious central shower, and a walk-in closet. The yacht offers two dining spaces: an outdoor option on the main deck and an indoor setting on the upper deck. The upper deck's dining area accommodates up to 10 guests and includes large, rounded windows that slide open to enhance the connection with the sea. Additional highlights include a panoramic pool located at the stern, just 50cm above sea level, and a garage to the starboard side that stores a five-metre tender and a rescue boat. Powered by a pair of MAN 2000hp engines, the yacht's semi-planing hull can achieve a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots. The shipyard has noted the market's positive response to the Atlantique line, stating that this marks the fifth unit in production. The initial unit was sold earlier this year and is currently under construction, with delivery expected in 2025. These new additions will join the Columbus Crossover 42, which is already in production at Palumbo Superyachts Savona.
