Actor Conor Leslie, known for her role as Donna Troy in the DC series Titans, is set to star in the horror thriller Archangel, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. She will be collaborating once again with screenwriter Bryan Edward Hill, who is also directing the film for the first time. The project will be presented at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con, with both Hill and Leslie attending.

The film is backed by Spooky Pictures and Image Nation Abu Dhabi, hinting at the emergence of a new force in the horror genre. Their previous productions include the thriller Watcher, directed by Chloe Okuno and featuring Maika Monroe, and the low-budget horror hit Late Night with the Devil, which achieved IFC Films' highest-grossing opening weekend and earned over $10 million (Dh36 million).

Archangel revolves around a privately funded organization dedicated to exploring the potential of life after death. The organization faces a formidable ancient entity intent on thwarting humanity's understanding of the supernatural. The cast includes Greg Hovanessian, Alyshia Ochse, Azure Parsons, and Trevor Riley.
