Core42, a G42 company and leading provider of sovereign cloud, AI infrastructure, and services, along with AIREV, has announced the launch of the OnDemand AI Operating System (AIOS). This collaboration signifies a significant advancement in the regional AI sector and represents their first major joint initiative since announcing their partnership in February this year.

OnDemand, developed by AIREV and built on Core42’s robust infrastructure, is a decentralized AI operating system designed to streamline AI deployment. It provides a comprehensive platform for developers, engineers, enterprises, and startups to construct, deploy, and manage their AI applications effortlessly. Key features of OnDemand include the capability to deploy AI models directly from sources such as Hugging Face, supporting both open-source and closed-source models. Users can also deploy their own models, ensuring flexibility and customization. The platform’s Plugins and Marketplace ecosystem allows developers to create, deploy, and sell plugins and agents, nurturing a dynamic ecosystem of AI tools. Enterprises can export these plugins and integrate them into their own systems. For intricate API integrations, OnDemand supports multi-step Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Additionally, the platform offers a low-code solution, making AI development accessible even after minor API integrations, with verified system integrators on the platform assisting in building use cases and providing additional support when needed.

“We are thrilled to see the immense potential of the OnDemand AIOS realized through this collaboration. Our advanced infrastructure will enable developers and enterprises to fully utilize the power of AI,” stated Muhammed Khalid, CEO of AIREV. Core42’s foundational infrastructure ensures the reliability and scalability of OnDemand. The company’s cutting-edge AI compute power employs high-performance GPUs to manage intensive AI training and inference tasks. Enterprises and developers will also have access to a diverse library of predefined models, including JAIS, the world’s most performant Arabic Large Language Model, Azure OpenAI GPT-4 Family, and various other models available for enterprises and developers.

“This pioneering platform underscores our dedication to advancing AI innovation and empowering businesses across the Middle East and beyond. By utilizing Core42's state-of-the-art infrastructure, we are enabling developers and enterprises to unlock unprecedented capabilities and accelerate their journey towards a smarter, AI-driven future,” commented Talal Alkaissi, Chief Partnerships & Government Affairs Officer, Core42.
