Whether you dedicate an entire afternoon or just a few minutes to perfecting the details, creating your character in games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Dragon Age is a crucial step before embarking on your adventure. Streamer Breebunn demonstrated this during an exceptionally lengthy stream where she crafted her characters for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a process that spanned an incredible 21 hours.
Breebunn created an elf Inquisitor named Mellon, sporting a high ash blonde ponytail, and her elf mage Rook, who wears a hint of lipstick for a splash of color. "I needed to ensure my Inquisitor looked exactly as I envisioned," Breebunn shared during the stream. "I have my priorities straight, and they're quite intense." She had a Dragon Age playtime clock showing 21 hours and 20 minutes, yet she hadn't even begun playing the actual game.
Beyond appearance, Breebunn also invested time in her character's backstory, incorporating choices from Dragon Age: Inquisition that impact Veilguard's narrative, including her decision to disband the Inquisition in her playthrough. When a commenter expressed concern about potentially botching their character creation and considering a restart, Breebunn explained her extensive approach.
"That's why I spent 20 hours in the character creator, perfecting my Rook as an Inquisitor, even doing the initial cutscenes without subtitles or audio, just focusing on her face until I was content," she said. "I did this for 20 hours. I'm not messing around. I'm serious." She jokingly added, "Could a depressed person do this?" Breebunn also shared another character creation session from September when she was exploring options in Dragon Age: Inquisition for the first time.
