The mind behind the iconic 'This is Fine' meme is venturing into the world of video games. KC Green, the creator of the 'Gunshow' comic, has joined forces with Numskull Games to develop a 'classic, old-school platformer' featuring the meme's star, Question Hound. The game, titled 'This is Fine: Maximum Cope,' will see Question Hound delving into his subconscious to confront his inner demons.
In the game, Question Hound will face off against creatures that thrive on the fear and anxiety of everyday life. As KC Green puts it, 'Question Hound is no longer putting up with it, and neither should you.' The game's description invites players to 'Run, jump, and use your new skills to explore Question Hound's crowded mind and help him knock back the nasties!' It continues, 'Help him keep the waves of depression at bay! And shine a light on his darkest fears! Maybe we all might learn some kind of coping skills along the way? Or at least have a rad game to enjoy for a brief respite.'
To bring this project to life, KC Green and Numskull Games are launching a Kickstarter campaign for the untitled Question Hound game. The campaign is set to go live on September 26.
