Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, is set to embark on an official visit to Brazil this Sunday to represent President Sheikh Mohamed at the G20 summit. During his visit, Sheikh Khaled will engage in discussions with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, focusing on enhancing bilateral ties across multiple sectors of mutual interest. Additionally, Sheikh Khaled will be present for the signing of several agreements, memorandums of understanding, and strategic partnerships between UAE and Brazilian entities across key sectors.
The Group of Twenty, which comprises the world's largest economies, includes 19 nations such as the United States and China, as well as two regional organizations: the European Union and the African Union. The G20 summit, scheduled for November 18-19 in Rio de Janeiro, will feature the attendance of leaders including US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Brazil currently holds the G20 presidency and has prioritized combating hunger, poverty, and inequality, alongside sustainable development and reforming global governance.
