Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, has concluded his official visit to Uzbekistan, marking a pivotal moment in bolstering ties between the UAE and Uzbekistan. During his visit, he met with Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, and held discussions with several high-ranking officials and government leaders.

The Dubai Crown Prince expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and the generous hospitality he received, which underscored the robust and lasting friendship between the UAE and Uzbekistan. He reiterated the commitment of both nations to not only strengthen their existing bonds but also to forge new avenues of collaboration that would result in shared prosperity, innovation, excellence, and growth.

Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that the enhanced partnership would generate opportunities that go beyond immediate mutual gains, promoting long-term development, stability, and a brighter future for the citizens of both countries. He noted that the leaders of both nations place significant importance on advancing bilateral relations, which are continuously evolving through persistent efforts to boost strategic cooperation.

During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan engaged in fruitful discussions with Uzbekistan's senior leadership, including Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan; Abdulla Aripov, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan; Lieutenant General Kurbanov Bakhodir Nizomovich, Minister of Defence; and several other senior officials.

The Dubai Crown Prince also participated in various joint events between the UAE and Uzbekistan governments, as well as the Government Knowledge Exchange Retreat, which aimed to share new ideas and experiences and explore innovative approaches to enhancing government excellence.
