Dancing is a fun way to express your personality and style in Fortnite, but doing so in specific locations with the latest update could lead to serious consequences. Fortnite's new Chapter 6, Season 1 update reintroduces "No Emoting" signs, and players who ignore these signs near the designated areas will be eliminated.

These signs were previously present in the game but didn't have any effect, serving only as mission objectives. However, as demonstrated in the video below, the rules have now changed. A Reddit user, S4HAND, found this out the hard way when they pulled out their trombone and started dancing, only to be catapulted off a cliff to their demise. Always remember, rules are rules!

This particular sign is situated near Foxy Floodgates, and it is surrounded by cones warning players that they are entering a restricted area. Fortnite is renowned for its whimsical and fun nature, and this update is another example of the developers at Epic Games incorporating community memes and inside jokes into the game.

Fortnite is currently enjoying a surge in popularity, with the recent Remix: The Finale event attracting over 14 million concurrent players, surpassing the 12.3 million concurrent users during the 2020 Travis Scott concert. This makes it the most popular music event in Fortnite's history.
