He followed up with a tweet containing a GIF from the upcoming remake of Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. This tease sent fans into a frenzy, though it's highly unlikely that Hayter could contribute to the Snake Eater remake at this stage. Thus, the timing and nature of this hinted project remain uncertain, leaving fans with only hope and speculation.
Given Konami's focus on advancing the narrative rather than revisiting past titles (with the exception of Delta), it's possible that a new Solid Snake game is in development. The question remains as to when this game would be set, considering Snake's rapid aging by the end of Metal Gear Solid 4.
