If you miss the days when DC and Marvel superheroes regularly crossed over into each other's universes, you'll be thrilled to know that those epic clashes have made a comeback with a massive new collection. The DC Versus Marvel Omnibus, a 960-page hardcover, was released on October 29, but you can already find it at a significant discount on Amazon. Originally priced at $150, this hefty book is now available for $107. This offer is also accessible at Walmart. The omnibus includes over a dozen comic arcs, such as Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man, Batman/Captain America, Spider-Man and Batman, and more.
The DC Versus Marvel Omnibus was initially set to launch alongside another crossover collection titled DC Versus Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus. Sadly, The Amalgam Age has been postponed to an uncertain date. It's no longer available for preorder on Amazon, but Walmart is still accepting preorders for the 1,024-page hardcover companion for $135 (originally $150). The Amalgam Age Omnibus is a collection of one-shots that, despite being marketed as a 'companion,' is actually larger at 1,024 pages. These one-shots combined characters from each publisher, resulting in unique creations like Dark Claw (Batman and Wolverine), Iron Lantern (Iron Man and Green Lantern), and Lobo the Duck (Lobo and Howard the Duck).
These stories have been out of print for decades, and the original one-shots commanded high prices in reseller markets. Additionally, this omnibus edition includes all four issues of the original Marvel vs. DC mini-series, featuring 11 colossal battles decided by fan votes. With Walmart's preorder price guarantee, you'll only pay the lowest price offered from the time you order until release. We'll update this article when DC announces a new release date.
