The 2024 Abu Dhabi T10 tournament's final between Deccan Gladiators and Morrisville Samp Army at Zayed Cricket Stadium provided a thrilling spectacle for the audience. Chasing a target of 105, Gladiators displayed explosive batting, achieving the target with eight wickets in hand and more than three overs to spare, securing their third T10 title. Mushtaq Ahmed, the head coach of Deccan Gladiators, revealed the winning strategy of the consistent champions. “My team and I focused on effective communication. You cannot teach skills in just ten days, but you can strengthen their mental fortitude and ensure they are happy to represent their team,” Ahmed explained. “Those working behind the scenes often go unnoticed, but if a player is injured or not in the right frame of mind a day before the match, quick communication is crucial to get that player back on track. This is what truly matters in a short tournament like this.” Meanwhile, Rohan Mustafa, captain of Morrisville Samp Army, lamented his team's batting performance in the final. “In T10, a strong start and a competitive score are essential to win. We must acknowledge that we faced a formidable opponent,” he said. “When we entered the tournament, we didn’t anticipate reaching the final. We played well as a unit, but overall, we fell short.” The spectators at Zayed Cricket Stadium also enjoyed an electrifying performance by Elnaaz Norouzi during the title match. This marks the third Abu Dhabi T10 title for the Gladiators, having previously won in the fifth and sixth seasons. Gladiators' star batter Jos Buttler, who scored 242 runs at a strike rate of 224.07, was named player of the tournament. Richard Gleeson received the bowler of the tournament award, while Kohler-Cadmore was named the batter of the tournament. Shahid Bhutta, who took 10 wickets at an economy of 10.93, was recognized as the UAE player of the tournament.
