Actress Demi Moore reminisced about her role in the 2003 American action comedy film, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, directed by McG and scripted by John August, as reported by Deadline. This film is a follow-up to the 2000's Charlie's Angels and marks the second chapter in the Charlie's Angels movie series.
Moore shared, "What's intriguing is that I experienced more criticism as I entered my 40s. I had starred in Charlie's Angels, and there was extensive discussion about a scene where I wore a bikini, with much emphasis on my appearance." She added, "I then felt as though there was no place for me. It wasn't that I felt out of place. It was more a sense of, I'm not in my 20s or 30s, yet I wasn't seen as a typical mother figure."
Moore, who portrayed Madison Lee in the 2003 Charlie's Angels sequel, pondered her role in Hollywood. "Where do I fit in? It was a period that felt, not stagnant, but rather flat," Moore expressed. "I'm not sure if I've ever confronted something I didn't realize could be a barrier."
She further stated, "There came a point where I began to question, is this truly what I should be doing? Perhaps that phase of my life is finished. Not ended, but completed. Then I understood, if I'm questioning it, I need to infuse it with energy to be certain." McG helmed the action comedy, and Moore played the film's antagonist, a former angel turned independent operative, according to Deadline.
