Destiny 2's latest addition, the Stasis grenade launcher named Liturgy, stands out for several reasons. Firstly, this Episode: Revenant weapon is a rare Double Fire archetype launcher, meaning it discharges two grenades simultaneously, doubling the explosive impact. Secondly, it occupies the primary weapon slot and is infused with Stasis, a highly sought-after element due to the enhancements provided by the Revenant artifact. Lastly, the exceptional perks in its god roll harmonize seamlessly with Stasis and Prismatic builds, as well as other Stasis weapons, offering substantial advantages.

Similar to other Revenant weapons, the primary method to acquire new versions of Liturgy is by engaging in Onslaught: Salvation, the new activity introduced with the episode. Liturgy can be obtained as a random reward upon completing waves of Onslaught: Salvation, so there's always a chance you'll find it in a chest. Enhancing your chances can be done by crafting a Liturgy Enriching tonic, which 'attunes' your rewards to increase the likelihood of receiving Liturgy. This tonic lasts for 20 minutes, but you'll need to unlock the recipe to use it—refer to our Tonics guide for more details on how to do this. Additionally, completing Revenant Act 1 story quests guarantees a Liturgy as a reward, so ensure you complete these quests as well.

Liturgy shares strong synergies with Stasis builds and other Stasis weapons, much like Exuviae. The standout perk is Chill Clip, which triggers an explosion that slows enemies upon direct hits, and the single-round magazine of Liturgy means you can bypass the 'top half of the magazine' limitation of the perk. The Spike Grenades magazine perk boosts direct-hit damage and benefits from a reduced blast radius due to Hard Launch, making it a formidable weapon. Slideways is also highly effective, as sliding continuously reloads your launcher, keeping it firing at a faster rate. Rimestealer performs well when paired with other weapons and abilities that generate Stasis crystals, as the launcher's high damage often results in targets dying before they can freeze.

While there are superior PvP grenade launcher options—such as The Mountaintop—Liturgy is more tailored for PvE scenarios. If you do decide to use it in the Crucible, focus on the Velocity stat to ensure your grenades reach their targets swiftly. Slideways remains beneficial here, aiding in maintaining Liturgy's load. Perks like Harmony and Desperate Measures can enhance Liturgy's damage, though both require a kill first, making it more suitable as a secondary weapon for targeting a second opponent after a duel.
