A grant amounting to Dh27 million will be distributed to fishermen in Dubai, as announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, on Thursday.

The grant is designed to support traditional artisanal fishing, thereby promoting sustainable practices and enhancing the fish stock of the emirate. The funds will be managed through a collaborative effort between the Dubai Environment and Climate Change Authority and the Dubai Fishermen's Cooperative Society.
