Sean 'Diddy' Combs disclosed his desired 'last words' seven years before facing arrest on sex-trafficking charges. This revelation occurred in October 2017 during his appearance on 'Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party' on VH1. Seated with Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg, La La Anthony, and his former protégé Usher, the group engaged in a game where each participant read a card and responded. Stewart, 83, initiated the game by stating, 'Everyone at this table has been forced to make tough decisions and today, it doesn't get any easier.' When it was Combs' turn, he read his card, 'When I die, I want my last words to be.' Without delay, he replied, 'I did it.' The table, excluding Usher, erupted in laughter and applause. Combs tossed the card and raised his hands as the audience cheered.

The 2017 clip re-emerged on social media amid Combs' legal woes, drawing fresh scrutiny to his 'I did it' remark. 'That's a confession,' one TikTok user commented. 'This didn't age well,' another noted. 'He did it alright,' read a third comment. 'Welp technically he didn't lie,' someone else added. Another fan criticized the celebrities for 'laughing' at Combs' 'crazy' statement. Usher appeared least enthusiastic about Combs' response. Combs discovered Usher and they cohabited in New York in the '90s when Usher was a teenager. Usher has not commented on Combs' recent arrest but did discuss Combs' wild parties in a 2016 Howard Stern interview that resurfaced amid Combs' legal issues. 'It was pretty wild. It was crazy. There were very curious things taking place and I didn't necessarily understand it,' Usher said. In 2004, Usher told Rolling Stone, 'There was always girls around' when he lived with Combs.

Another voice critical of Combs' parties is his rival, 50 Cent. The 'In Da Club' singer, 49, has long trolled Combs and is currently producing a Netflix documentary about the accusations against the disgraced rapper. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, 50 Cent defended his stance, stating, 'It seems like I'm doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven't. It's really me just saying what I've been saying for 10 years.' He added, 'Now it's becoming more full-facing in the news with the Puffy stuff, but away from that, I'm like, 'Yo, it's just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time, because this is not my style.' 50 Cent clarified in a July interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he was never friends with Combs despite their history of working together. When asked why other celebrities haven't spoken up about Combs, 50 Cent said, 'Some of them were involved, at the parties and enjoyed themselves, so they don't know what the f--k is on tape or what's not on tape, so they're not going to say anything because they might have had too much fun.'

Combs was arrested in New York last month and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and is being held at a Brooklyn federal jail. Prosecutors accuse the record producer of orchestrating elaborate, drug-laced 'Freak Off' sex sessions where he allegedly forced women into sex acts with male prostitutes while he masturbated and secretly filmed. Combs has also faced numerous civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and rape. The latest suit claims Combs drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl with two other celebrities after the VMAs in 2000. The Post has reached out to Combs' rep for comment.
