The dollar experienced a significant increase of approximately 1.5 percent against both the yen and the euro on Wednesday, as market participants assessed the potential fiscal impacts of a Donald Trump victory in the US presidential election.

The greenback surged by 1.51 percent against the Japanese currency, reaching 153.89 yen at around 0245 GMT. Simultaneously, it climbed 1.41 percent to trade at nearly 0.93 euros per dollar.
