The eagerly awaited DP World Tour Championship Pro-Am Challenge series is gearing up to commence once more, providing golfers throughout the UAE with a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to compete alongside some of the game's most iconic figures in Dubai this November.

The yearly event, formerly known as the 'Luckiest Ball on Earth', is accessible to all golfers possessing an Official Club Handicap recognized by the Emirates Golf Federation (maximum 28 for men and juniors, 36 for ladies). Since its inception in 2011, it has afforded over 36 amateur golfers the extraordinary experience of playing with esteemed athletes such as Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland, Rory McIlroy, and last year's DP World Tour Championship victor, Nicolai Højgaard.

Eight golf clubs across the Emirates will host qualifying tournaments from 8th September to 20th October, with the top three males, females, and juniors earning a spot in the Grand Final at Jumeirah Golf Estates on Saturday 2nd November 2024. The ultimate male, female, and junior champions will secure a coveted place in the DP World Tour Championship Pro-Am, to be held on the Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates on Tuesday 12th November 2024.

'We are excited to launch the DP World Tour Championship Pro-Am Challenge, as golf clubs across the Emirates prepare for a thrilling 2024 edition. This competition is a prime chance for amateur golfers to play alongside the sport's top stars,' stated Tom Phillips, Director of the Middle East, DP World Tour. He further added, 'Competitions like these transform dreams into reality for sports enthusiasts. We are deeply grateful to the qualifying golf clubs and the Emirates Golf Federation for making this exceptional local golf initiative a reality. To all the skilled amateurs out there - participate and you could be the one teeing off!'
