The Dubai Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) has sponsored the Umrah pilgrimage for 80 individuals with limited income, as part of its charitable and humanitarian objectives.

Dubai Awqaf allocated approximately Dh100,000 to Dar Al Ber Society to support the 'Umrah of a Lifetime' initiative, which the society has been organizing for several years. The initiative aims to cover the expenses of Umrah for those in need and individuals with limited income who have not previously performed the pilgrimage.

The journey spans seven days, during which the participants perform the rituals and visit the sacred sites in Makkah and Madinah. Dar Al Ber Society provided accommodation for the beneficiaries in hotels in Makkah and Madinah, along with the costs of obtaining visas to Saudi Arabia for the purpose of performing the Umrah rituals and visiting the Holy sites.
