Dubai Basketball secured their fourth consecutive victory, edging out SC Derby 87-86 in a thrilling ABA League encounter, boosting their season record to 6-1. Isaiah Taylor's clutch free throw with just ten seconds left on the clock sealed the win in a high-stakes match in Montenegro.

Dubai controlled much of the game against SC Derby, leading by six points with less than 90 seconds remaining. However, they had to withstand relentless pressure from their opponents who posed a constant threat. Ahmet Düverioğlu led Dubai's scoring with 14 points, complemented by eight rebounds and three steals. The triumph was largely attributed to Dubai's cohesive team play, with seven players scoring in double figures for the first time this season.

Head coach Jurica Golemac acknowledged the toughness of the game but emphasized that his team's hard work paid off. He stated, "We knew it would be challenging, but our preparation was key. We had to fight for this win multiple times. Despite leading for most of the game, it shows we still have much to improve."

Despite Dubai holding a 9-point lead at halftime, they faced a formidable challenge from SC Derby's Eric Neal, who scored an impressive 34 points, shooting 80% from beyond the arc. Dubai's lead stretched to 12 points in the second quarter, but SC Derby rallied in the third, reducing the deficit to just two points with ten minutes left.

In the final quarter, Dubai extended their lead to 8 points with a three-pointer from Nate Mason and a free throw from Düverioğlu. However, SC Derby tied the game at 86-86 with a crucial three-pointer from Neal with 33 seconds remaining. In a tense finish reminiscent of their Round 5 victory, Isaiah Taylor was fouled with ten seconds left, converting the second of his two free throws to give Dubai the lead.

With time running out, solid defense from Davis Bertans and Awudu Abass forced Neal to lose possession, securing the win for Dubai. Dubai Basketball's next challenge is against ABA League leaders Partizan Mozzart in Serbia on November 10th, a match dubbed by some as "Dubai's defining test."

After a three-game road trip, Dubai Basketball returns home to the Coca-Cola Arena on November 17th to face Krka. Fans are eagerly anticipating a high-energy atmosphere, and tickets are available for purchase.
