Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) announced late Thursday that the issues concerning salary payments for certain customers, which arose due to a system upgrade, are close to being resolved. The bank promptly reached out to the affected customers upon discovering the disruptions and delays in salary transfers. DIB emphasized that although efforts were made to minimize disruptions, some customers experienced service-related issues. This upgrade is crucial for improving the quality of banking services. Upon noticing any disruptions, DIB immediately contacted the affected customers, assuring them that a specialized team was actively working to restore the services swiftly. The bank is pleased to announce that all salary payment issues will be resolved by tonight.

On June 14, DIB informed its customers via email about a planned system upgrade from June 14 to June 19, aimed at enhancing banking services. During this period, services such as wages protection system registration, cash on card, and balance transfers from DIB credit cards, among others, were affected. On June 20, DIB sent another email detailing further impacts, including delayed inward funds transfers due to recent holidays, availability of account notifications, and potential delays in branches and call centers due to high traffic. DIB's teams are committed to resolving these issues promptly and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
