Dubai has unveiled the establishment of the National University of Dubai, with an initial investment of Dh4.5 billion. The University is set to offer specialized and forward-looking academic programs.

The University's objective is to secure a place among the top 50 young universities worldwide within the next decade, excelling in both research and academic innovation. In a social media post, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stated: "Today, we are initiating a new project aimed at enhancing education in our nation... Its aspiration is to rank among the top 50 young universities over the next decade."

The university will embody a distinct Emirati identity, featuring programs that are international in scope, designed to support the UAE's developmental objectives and equip its graduates to compete on the global stage.
