The Dh1-billion Dubai Police Academy project, situated in Al Ruwayyah 1, is slated for completion by 2027, according to official announcements. This cutting-edge facility will encompass four primary zones: Academic buildings, sports amenities, a main field dedicated to police operations training, and residential accommodations for up to 1,200 male and female cadet officers. Spanning 155 hectares, the complex is designed to host 2,500 cadets.

The sports zone within the academy will feature an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a football field, and various other outdoor courts, ensuring that officers receive comprehensive academic and physical training. Lieutenant Colonel Faisal Al Tamimi, Director of Assets and Facilities Department at Dubai Police, highlighted that the academy includes a 3.5km cycling and running track, aligning with the UAE's vision to provide top-tier training and development for its officers.

Initiated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, this project is part of a series of strategic initiatives for Dubai Police valued at Dh2 billion. These initiatives aim to strengthen security and safety, invest in specialized police training, and enhance employee welfare through housing projects that promote family stability.
