University graduates and high school diploma holders in Dubai now have the chance to apply for positions at Dubai Police. Interested individuals can visit the 2024 UAE Careers Fair 'Ru'ya', which runs from Tuesday, September 24, to September 26, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Dubai Police announced that 175 job openings will be available for university graduates and high school diploma holders, with 50 spots reserved for university graduates from diverse fields and 125 for high school graduates. Electronic devices will be provided at the fair's Dubai Police stand, enabling candidates to apply using smart technology via the Dubai Police online portal: https://srs.dubaipolice.gov.ae, according to Colonel Hamad bin Dafous, Director of the Selection and Recruitment Department in the General Department of Human Resources.

To qualify, applicants must be UAE nationals, at least 18 years old, and hold a high school or university diploma recognized by the relevant authorities in the country. They must also pass required tests, medical examinations, and personal interviews, and must not have a criminal record involving dishonesty or breach of trust. Additionally, they should not have been stripped of their military rank or dismissed from any security, military, or civil service.

Major General Ahmad Mohammed Rafea, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administrative Affairs, highlighted that Dubai Police's involvement in the 2024 UAE Careers Fair aligns with the country's strategic objective of empowering young Emiratis in security roles. Recruiting UAE nationals is a priority, with an emphasis on attracting both male and female citizens to join the security workforce.

Over the past three years, Dubai Police have offered 504 job vacancies through career fairs, including 191 positions in 2023, 197 in 2022, and 116 in 2021, according to Major-General Dr Saleh Abdullah Murad, Director of the General Department of Human Resources. Dr Saleh noted that Dubai Police have consistently participated in the UAE Careers Fair, providing numerous opportunities for young Emiratis. The fair serves as a platform to meet university graduates and high school diploma holders, assess their skills, and understand their aspirations for a career in law enforcement.

This initiative reflects Dubai Police's dedication to offering Emirati nationals the chance to join a dynamic and pioneering police force, recognized both locally and globally, where they can fulfill their career ambitions in law enforcement and security.
