Dubai Police is inviting both residents and tourists to view and snap a selfie with their newest luxury security patrol vehicle, the 'Tesla Cybertruck'. This event is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, which is the final day of the four-day Eid Al Adha holiday, and will extend over four days until Friday, June 21, from 10am to 10pm, located outside the Dubai Ice Rink at Dubai Mall. The unveiling of the distinctive electric truck, adorned in vibrant green and white colors with a unique plate number 5, was shared on social media by Dubai Police on Sunday. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, was notably interested in the futuristic vehicle. Elon Musk, co-founder and CEO of Tesla, responded to the post with a simple 'Cool' and an emoji. Brig Khalfan Obaid Al Jallaf, the director of the Tourist Police Department, previously discussed the integration of supercars into the Dubai Police fleet, emphasizing their role in aiding tourists and enhancing the police presence at key tourist spots like the Burj Khalifa and JBR. Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, assistant commander-in-chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, also highlighted the benefits of these supercars. The Dubai Police supercar fleet boasts an impressive lineup including the Lamborghini Aventador, Audi R8 Coupé V10, Bentley Continental GT, McLaren MP4-12C, Aston Martin One-77, Mercedes-AMG GT63 S, Maserati GranTurismo, Bugatti Veyron, Toyota 2021 GR Supra, and more.
