Dubai Police has called on residents and visitors to adhere to the rules and guidelines during the 53rd Eid Al Ittihad celebrations to ensure a safe, orderly, and enjoyable experience for everyone, while minimizing risks and disruptions.

The authority emphasized that traffic patrols will be on high alert to maintain road safety throughout this period, ensuring smooth traffic flow and preventing congestion to guarantee the safety of all road users. Most violations are covered under Decree No. 30 of 2023, which deals with vehicle impoundment and can impose fines of up to Dh50,000 for the release of an impounded vehicle.

Here are the key rules that the public should be aware of when celebrating during the long weekend:

Avoid organizing or participating in random marches and gatherings.

Adhere strictly to all traffic regulations.

Follow the instructions issued by police officers.

Refrain from using party sprays, whether by drivers, passengers, or pedestrians.

Ensure that the front and rear license plates of vehicles are clearly visible and not obstructed.

Avoid altering the vehicle's color or tinting the windscreen.

Do not place any stickers, signs, or logos on the car unless they are specifically for Eid Al Etihad and comply with official guidelines and conditions.

It is prohibited to cover the vehicle's side, front, or rear windows with stickers.

Using sunshades that block visibility is also prohibited.

Performing stunts on internal or external roads, or obstructing or blocking traffic, is not allowed.

Vehicle owners should avoid making unauthorized modifications or adding unlicensed features that create excessive noise or obstruct vision. Drivers must ensure that only the permitted number of passengers is in the vehicle and prevent anyone from hanging out of windows or sunroofs.
