The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai declared on Friday the introduction of distinct journeys to the Expo 2020 Metro Station and the UAE Exchange Metro Station. This new service is set to commence on Saturday, August 3. RTA encouraged passengers to monitor the information screens.
In June, the Dubai Executive Council revealed plans to add more stations in the coming years. The expansion plan targets increasing the number of stations from the current 64 across 84 square kilometers to 96 stations over 140 square kilometers by 2030. By 2040, the goal is to extend coverage to 140 stations across 228 square kilometers.
