This exercise establishes a global standard for crisis management by leveraging advanced digital solutions to enhance safety and efficiency within transport infrastructure. The strategic deployment of metaverse and digital twin technologies highlights Dubai’s dedication to innovation and proactive public safety measures. It signifies a pivotal move in aligning vision with execution, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a leading smart city on the global stage.

The drill encompassed participation from 11 government entities, including Dubai Police, Dubai Civil Defence, Transportation Security Department, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Health, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, and Dubai Government Media Office, alongside Keolis-MHI, the operator of Dubai Metro and Tram.
