Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to auction 350 exclusive number plates for private vehicles in its 76th online event. The auction will feature coveted single-digit numbers such as 3, 4, and 5, along with plates carrying codes A, B, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, and Z. Interested participants can register starting Monday, July 22, with the bidding commencing at 8am on Monday, July 29, and lasting for five days. The sale includes a 5% VAT, and each bidder must possess a traffic file in Dubai and submit a Dh5,000 security cheque to RTA. Additionally, a non-refundable auction fee of Dh120 is required. Payments can be processed at Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Al Ramool, Al Barsha, or Deira, or via credit card through RTA’s website (www.rta.ae).
