The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the completion of traffic improvements on Dubai's Beirut Street. These enhancements include the addition of an extra lane along the 3-kilometer stretch from the intersection of Beirut Street with Al Nahda Street to Amman Street in the northbound direction. This measure is expected to reduce travel time by more than 30%, cutting the journey from 18 minutes down to just 12 minutes. The recent expansion also boosts the street's capacity from 4,500 to 6,000 vehicles per hour in the northbound direction, optimizing traffic flow and minimizing delays during evening peak hours on the stretch between Al Nahda Street and Amman Street.

Additional traffic enhancements on Beirut Street involve the introduction of a storage lane at the intersection of Baghdad Street and Beirut Street. This addition is designed to handle increased traffic volumes and improve the smooth movement of vehicles at the traffic signal. These upgrades significantly reduce travel time along Beirut Street towards the Airport Tunnel, as well as from Beirut Street to Baghdad Street and further on to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. The improvements are set to benefit residents and visitors in nearby areas, including Muhaisnah, Al Qusais, Al Twar, and Al Qusais Industrial Area, in both directions.
