This Diwali season, Dubai is set to dazzle with a vibrant array of festivities and entertainment for both residents and visitors. From October 25 to November 7, 2024, the city will be alive with the celebrations of the Festival of Lights. Expect fireworks, cultural experiences, musical tributes, theatre productions, and community events during this festive period.

Fireworks will illuminate the skies over popular family spots such as Al Seef and Global Village. The first displays are scheduled for 9pm on October 25-26 at Al Seef, followed by another round at 9pm on November 1-2 at Global Village. Global Village will also host a week-long Diwali celebration from October 28 to November 3, featuring Rangoli art, performances, and more fireworks. Visitors can shop at the Festival of Lights Market at the India Pavilion and savor India’s culinary offerings.

Al Seef will launch its Noor - Festival of Lights from October 25-27, a free cultural fair curated by TeamWork Arts. This three-day event will include puppet processions, theatre shows, poetry recitals, musical performances, and workshops. It's also an opportunity to explore Al Seef’s traditional souk, restaurants, and boutiques.

Music enthusiasts can enjoy The Unforgettables concert series, a tribute to Jagjit Singh featuring Tauseef Akhtar, at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian High School until October 26. Another highlight is Meera: Echoes of Love, a production celebrating women’s strength and love, set for October 26 at Dubai British School, Jumeirah Park.

Deepavali Utsav 2024 will take place on October 26 at Etisalat Academy, offering traditional games, folk dances, and food stalls. Shoppers can indulge in a Diwali shopping experience on October 26 at the Diwali Fiesta Exhibition at Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers - Hotel & Residence.

Additionally, on November 8, the thriller play Barff, written and directed by Saurabh Shukla, will be performed at Zabeel Theatre.
