The world's top athletes have gathered in Paris, the French capital, for the Olympic Games, striving to earn medals for their countries at the 'Greatest show on Earth.' Dubai has joined the excitement with the launch of the first DXB Games at one of the world's busiest airports. Passengers traveling through the city's luxurious Terminal 3 can now experience the Games by participating in various sports events. Moreover, they have the opportunity to win gold, silver, or bronze medals for their outstanding performances.
Transforming the world's busiest international hub into a celebration of sportsmanship and cultural diversity, DXB Terminal 3's Family Zone becomes a lively sporting arena. From July 26 to August 11, travelers can engage in activities such as the bike sprint to success, football keep-ups challenge, and a basketball shootout. Competing with family or fellow travelers, participants can earn bronze, silver, and gold medals accompanied by exciting cash vouchers, giving them more reasons to enjoy the fun.
“This summer, one of the world’s largest sporting events offers a platform to promote and celebrate international diversity, making it a perfect occasion for the world’s busiest international hub to align with,” said Michelle Lee, Vice President of Brand and Communications at Dubai Airports. “We’re dedicated to providing memorable experiences that resonate with our guests, and we look forward to the joy and camaraderie the DXB Games will inspire.”
In addition to the celebrations, guests can watch live broadcasts of the international sports festival at various food and beverage outlets, which will feature special menus to enhance the sporting spirit. This initiative amplifies the festive atmosphere, ensuring that travelers can immerse themselves in the athletic spirit throughout their journey at DXB.
