Dubai's GDP reached Dh116 billion in the second quarter of 2024, marking a 3.3 percent increase, as announced by the emirate's Crown Prince on Sunday.
The city's economic growth accelerated, with a 3.2 percent rise during the first half of 2024, culminating in a staggering Dh231 billion.
Sheikh Hamdan took to X to commend the city's economic advancements under the 'visionary' guidance of Dubai's Ruler. 'Dubai has emerged as a global exemplar of sustainable growth and a foremost economic powerhouse. We extend our gratitude to all teams and collaborators for their remarkable efforts in realizing the D33 Agenda's objective of positioning Dubai among the world's top three urban economies,' the leader penned.
