On one of the most sacred days in Islam, Dubai's Ruler posted a brief video showcasing scenes of him in prayer and during a pilgrimage. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, utilized X to extend his greetings to residents on this special occasion. He prayed for the acceptance of the pilgrims' prayers and remarked, "Today, Muslims assemble in the most pristine and exalted gathering on earth... at the plains of Arafat." On the micro-blogging platform, the UAE royal disseminated a series of images depicting him in prayer and performing the pilgrimage, including a scene with Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, standing alongside his father in Makkah. The Crown Prince extended his wishes to the leaders of the nation and Arab and Islamic nations "on the grandest day of Haj," expressing, "May He bestow upon us His grace, generosity, and kindness, and safeguard the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Realm of Goodness."
