Beginning this weekend, residents of Dubai can relish meals and gourmet selections at Michelin-starred establishments for as low as Dh69, as the eagerly anticipated Summer Restaurant Week (SRW) makes its comeback.
Over 60 participating venues will present two-course lunch offerings for Dh95; three-course dinner experiences for Dh150; and special breakfast menus for Dh69. The culinary options span from Middle Eastern and European to Indian and Italian flavors.
Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), SRW stands as one of the season's most eagerly awaited events, providing food enthusiasts with the opportunity to taste the specialties of some of the city's top restaurants at affordable prices. As part of the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), the event will run from August 23 to September 1.
Suhaila Saqer Obaid Bin Ghubash, Vice-President of Festival Planning and Operations at the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), emphasized the importance of culinary delights during DSS. "Gastronomy plays a crucial role in the city," she explained to Khaleej Times. "We boast a diverse range of dining options, from Michelin-starred restaurants to local eateries. It's time to celebrate this culinary richness."
This year, SRW offers residents and tourists the chance to dine at internationally renowned restaurants such as 11Woodfire and Reif - Time Out Market, along with other prominent dining destinations like Beefbar, Cucina The Palm, Ewaan, and Zengo Dubai.
