As the summer season draws to a close, one of the UAE's most beloved winter destinations, the Dubai Safari Park, has reopened its doors for the new season today (October 1). This attraction provides families and visitors with unforgettable experiences, including safari bus rides and interactive feeding sessions. Among the park's standout features are Zulu and Temple, two South African elephants aged between 14 and 16. Some visitors were overjoyed by the experience, reliving their childhood excitement. "I felt like a kid all over again. Honestly, it was a very nice experience. I loved seeing the animals and feeding them. It was the perfect end to my weekend," said Dubai resident Abeer Faisal.

Katie Flotskaya, a first-time visitor from Russia, expressed her delight after visiting the park with her children: "Our family had a fantastic time at Dubai Safari Park! It was our first visit, and we were blown away. Feeding the elephants was an incredible experience—they were so close." She added, "We also loved the safari bus ride, where we saw lions, zebras, antelopes, monkeys, and many other amazing animals, all just a few feet away. We plan to visit again." Dubai resident Mazza Mohammed was equally thrilled, emphasizing that there’s no age limit for enjoying the zoo. "Seeing the animals so closely made the experience even more special. The energy in the park is contagious." The park now boasts of over 3,000 animals from 87 different species, offering a rich blend of entertainment and education.

The park also features six themed zones that can be explored either on foot or via a shuttle train. Each zone presents close-up encounters with wildlife, complemented by educational activities that emphasize animal welfare and conservation efforts. The park’s shuttle tours through the African Village give visitors close-up views of various species, all within a secure environment. The park has installed gates to separate different animals, ensuring visitors' and wildlife' safety and comfort. During the tour, Kenyan guide Jan emphasized the importance of safety measures in the park: "Between every species, we have gates to prevent any potential stress or danger to the animals. Our goal is to create a safe and immersive environment for everyone."

Speaking about the summer, when the park is closed to visitors, Jan said: "This break is essential for the animals' well-being. It allows them to relax and prepare for the busy season." During the break, on June 21, Dubai Safari welcomed a white rhino calf. Two moon bears, also known as Asiatic Black Bears, were born on January 23 and are now ready to meet visitors. The combination of thrill and educational insights makes Dubai Safari Park a unique destination for all ages, ensuring that visitors leave with hearts full of joy and minds enriched with knowledge.
