Dubai Safari Park is set to launch its sixth season on October 1, as announced by the outdoor destination. According to Dubai Municipality, the park has undergone substantial enhancements during the summer off-season.
Further details about the new experiences and attractions will be disclosed in the upcoming weeks, according to the municipality. Ahmad Al Zarouni, the director of Public Parks and Recreational Facilities at the civic body, stated: “Our new season opening signifies a thrilling new phase in Dubai’s continuous efforts to boost tourism by offering visitors the opportunity to encounter wildlife in a manner that is entirely novel for the region.”
Guests can traverse the park either on foot or by utilizing a shuttle train that links six distinctively themed zones, as per the municipality. Each zone provides intimate interactions with a diverse range of wildlife and features educational and immersive activities that emphasize animal welfare and the park’s conservation initiatives. Moreover, the return of popular live presentations by zoologists promises to offer an engaging insight into the marvels of the animal kingdom.
“We take great pride in redefining how people experience wildlife in Dubai, allowing visitors of all ages to engage with animals in a way that is both enjoyable and educational, while also being respectful,” Al Zarouni added.
Dubai Safari Park is home to more than 3,000 animals, representing 78 species of mammals, 50 types of reptiles, and 111 varieties of birds. As the sixth season commences, visitors can anticipate exploring the park’s vast terrain and interacting with its diverse array of animals, all within habitats meticulously designed to meet the specific needs of each species.
